VARINA, Va. (WTVR) - Varina found themselves tied with Henrico in the first quarter then stepped on the gas to cruise to a 66-24 win over the Warriors.
P.T. Dixon scored on the first play of the game...a 59 yard TD pass from Brandon Wood. Herb Anderson carried 8 times for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Tyler Meredith added two TD runs as well.
Ammar Jabbar hd a 40 yard fumble return for a touchdown for the Warriors. They fall to 0-7 on the year after giving up 440 yards of total offense to the Blue Devils. Varina improves to 6-1, 4-0 and travels to Glen Allen next week.
