Richmond, VA (WTVR) – City audits reveal two employees of Richmond’s Department of Public Works may have wasted thousands of dollars in taxpayer money.

According to the reports, one of those employees made dozens of personal phone calls on her City issued cell phone. She’s also accused of falsifying timesheets so she could leave work early.

Another worker also acknowledges using a city owned truck to drive his boat to a marina in Dinwiddie.

The City of Richmond won’t comment on the audits, saying it is a personnel matter.
