RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Highland Springs had a slow start in their game against Armstrong, but pulled away in the second half for a 47-6 win over the Wildcats.

Springers quarterback DJ Johnson opened the scoring with a 16 yard pass to Desmond Cawthon. But Armstrong answered with a Kevon Cooley 2 yard run to tie the game at 6.

The 4th ranked Springers then scored 41 unanswered points, let by Johnson. Highland Springs is now 6-0 overall and 3-0 in the Capital District, while Armstrong falls to 2-4. 0-3.
