RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Virginia Commonwealth University is set to unveil its newest addition to the Monroe Park campus that aims to help students who bike.
VCU will hold a ribbon cutting for the new facility, RamBikes on Thursday at 3 p.m.
The bike lounge will be a home for cycling on campus and takes an innovative approach to cycling education.
The facility offers a collaborative environment for cyclists of all kinds, as well as those looking to get started. Services include safety and maintenance clinics, a full repair shop for students to work on their bikes and access to bike ambassadors who can help students find the closest bike shops, pick out a bike part or plan a commuting route.
