PRINCE GEORGE, Va (WTVR) - VDOT continues to install guard rails on a section of courthouse road in Prince George County after a 17-year old was killed when his car ran off the road.
Marvin Massenburg Jr. was driving to school when he pulled onto the shoulder to let a police car pass, but instead of stopping he continued 135 feet along the shoulder before his car plunged into the black water swamp.
After a review by VDOT, a decision was made to install the guard rails.
A wall will be built starting tomorrow where the accident happened.
The guard rail is expected soon after.
