Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and one of the big events scheduled is The American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Sunday, October 21. Registration is at noon with the walk at 1:30pm at Kanawha Plaza. There is a $25 registration fee. Get details at or

It’s a shop night benefiting the American Cancer Society “Stilettoes Stomping Cancer,” Sunday, October 7th from 6:30-9pm at Stein Mart Short Pump and sponsored by CARE Advantage.
