HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Two recent robberies in the parking lots of Short Pump businesses were carried out by the same teenage suspect, according to Henrico Police. Detectives arrested a 16-year-old suspect in connection to the Sept. 19 robbery of two women outside of Skate Nation in Short Pump, according to an email from Henrico Police spokeswoman Lt. Linda Toney.

Toney said the same teenager is accused of robbing two people, at gunpoint, on Sept. 20 outside the Whole Foods grocery store in Short Pump.

The teenager, whose name was not released by police, is charged with:

  • 4 counts of robbery
  • 4 counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony,
  • 2 counts of possession of a firearm as a minor
  • 2 counts of sexual battery

Toney said two of the women robbed on Sept. 19 were also inappropriately touched during the crime, thus the sexual battery charges.
