Time is running out to see Body Worlds & the Brain exhibition at the Science Museum of Virginia, it runs through Sunday. Body Worlds takes an in-depth look at the insides of the human body, it features twelve actual human bodies that have been preserved through a process called Plastination, developed in 1977 by Dr. Gunter von Hagens at the University of Heidelberg’s Institute of Anatomy.
The Museum has extended the hours to midnight on Friday, September 21 and Saturday, September 22, opening at 9:30am both days giving guests a chance to see the exhibit. Sunday, September 23 is the final day to see the exhibit, normal hours are 11:30am – 5pm.
