RICHMOND (WTVR) – What’s the best way to recognize a local sports superstar? Name one of America’s favorite food after them.

SuperStars pizza named a slice of pizza after Richmond-native Russell Wilson.

Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks starting quarterback,  won his first NFL game on Sunday.

SuperStars is located on Patterson Ave. near Libbie in Richmond. Workers there told CBS 6 Wilson is a frequent customer.

The nickname Wolf Badger combined the team mascots of the two universities Wilson quarterback, the N.C. State Wolfpack and the Wisconsin Badgers.

The slice, which sells for $3.89, contains BBQ chicken, bacon, onions and cheddar cheese.
