In August, members of the Russian punk group Pussy Riot were found guilty of hooliganism and sentenced to two years.

Remaining members are hiding as to continue their self-proclaimed movement.

Rumors have circulated that two members left the country.

However, the Guardian today posted a video that shows masked members rappelling down a building to secure a huge Pussy Riot banner and burn a large portrait of Vladimir Putin.

They say Putin thinks it's 'illegal to stand up for the rights of gay and lesbian community.”

“These men think you can’t criticize your government, they said.

They also said that, “these men think if you sing and dance in an inappropriate way that you get two years in prison.”

They said they “have been fighting for the right to sing, to think, to criticize—to be musicians and artists.”

The three members also thank all of their supporters, including Madonna, Bjork, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and all activists who fight to be free.

“Start a Pussy Riot and never stop," they said.
