RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) – Fire officials say a home in the 6200 block of Forest Hill was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived this morning. The Richmond Fire Department received the call at 1:45am. The fire is under control but we are getting reports of lanes closed in that area.

If you access Forest Hill from the Powhite Parkway your commute may be affected. Forest Hill East is closed off near Willow Oaks Country Club off of Glyndon Lane. Try using Chippenham, the Powhite or Glyndon Lane to get around those delays. However, you should avoid the area if possible.

Officials say no one was found in the home and there are no reports of injuries.
