CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred Friday. Police responded to a stabbing incident at 11 p.m. Friday on the 4900 block of Lippingham Drive.
One male was reported dead when authorities arrived at the scene. The victim was identified as 46-year-old Peter Casella. He was allegedly stabbed by his step-son, Robert “Bobby” Eugene Richmond.
Officials are investigating the incident as a domestic-related homicide.
Authorities obtained warrants for Richmond for murder, grand larceny, felonious assault, and for damaging a phone line.
Richmond was arrested around 9 a.m. in Powhatan County.
