RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Mitt Romney's campaign tells CBS 6 the GOP presidential nominee is heading to Louisiana, one day after accepting his party's nomination at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.
Romney was originally scheduled to appear at a "Victory Rally" in Richmond on Friday. Instead, vice presidential running mate Rep. Paul Ryan will attend the rally at Richmond International Airport in eastern Henrico County alone. [WATCH LIVE: Ryan rally at RIC]
Doors for the event located at 5733 Huntsman Road at the Martinair, Inc, hanger, will open at 11 a.m. and the event begins at 1 p.m.

President Obama campaigned in Charlottesville on Wednesday and is scheduled to appear in Norfolk on Tuesday before he heads to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C.
