PRINCE GEORGE, Va. (WTVR) – VDOT said all lanes on I-95 north in Prince George are back open after a vehicle fire forced all lanes of the interstate to be shutdown.
It happened Thursday afternoon around 5:30 p.m. on I-95 north at mile marker 49 just north of the Wagner Road exit . All lanes were back open around 6:45.
Officials said the vehicle fire was on the right shoulder of the interstate, but that drivers should expect major delays.
VDOT said through traffic should use I-295 north to bypass this incident.
