RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Heavy metal and hard rock fans are pulling together to help Lamb of God front man, Randy Blythe.

Blythe was recently released from a prison in the Czech Republic, where he has been accused of contributing to the death of a fan who was pushed off the stage at a Lamb of God concert last year.

Blythe’s legal bills continue to grow while he waits to find out if he’s going to have to return to Prague to face trial. Blythe is out on a bond that took two attempts and weeks to grant.

Blythe’s friends plan to hold a concert Friday, August 31 atthe Canal Club in Richmond. Tickets are $10, show begins at 8:00 p.m. and proceeds will benefit the singer’s legal defense fund.

Several acts are slated to perform.
