NASHVILLE, TN (WTVF) - Cell phone video of a brawl Friday between a Tennessee student and what appears to be a teacher has turned up online.
WTVF-TV reports the video clearly shows a frustrated adult -- and the student at the center of that frustration. (It is important to point out no one will confirm if that adult is indeed a teacher.)
“Come on, get up right now,” can be heard in the video. “Boy, you better not put your hands on me. Get up! Right now! Put your hands on me again. Get up.”
The video, which was recorded by other students, shows the teacher and the student going at it in front of the entire class at Cane Ridge High School in Antioch.
Metro Nashville Public School have not released any information about the incident. However, a spokesperson did confirm that there was a fight reported at the school and said administrators are looking into what happened.
WTVF-TV talked to the family of the student involved.
The tenth grader’s family said the teen was expelled from school Friday. His uncle said the teen was taken to the hospita to be checked out after this fight.
