RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A representative for the Virginia Credit Union said there was no word on when a technical glitch affecting its cell phone and online applications would be fixed.

The credit union alerted customers of the problem Thursday with a message posted on its Facebook and web pages that read, “We are aware that members are having difficulty accessing Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Text Banking. We are working to restore full connectivity as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience”.

Glenn Birch, the Public and Media Relations Director for the Virginia Credit Union told CBS 6 the glitch was noticed earlier in the day, and he said branches and dial-in phone banking were not affected.
