The movie synopsis on the Facebook page is as follows.
“Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award® winner Daniel Day-Lewis in “Lincoln,” a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.”
Yes, the film features Daniel Day-Lewis as Lincoln, but let’s not forget all the other stars like Sally Fields, James Spader, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt
A limited release is slated for Nov. 9, with an official release of Nov. 16.
No word yet if all the bearded folk and lady extras—along with star-stalking proud civilians—will get a chance to see the film in limited release in Richmond. We would hope so, but no official word yet.
