WEST MIFFIN, Pa. (WTVR) - What would you do to celebrate your 80th birthday?
For one roller coaster enthusiast the choice was clear - he wanted to ride his favorite roller coaster 80 times - in a row!
Vic Klemen's relationship with the Jack Rabbit goes back to 1958, when he says a group of friends tricked him to get on it.
He took 4,700 spins on the roller coaster over the years before adding 80 rides to the count on Sunday.
"The fascination with the roller coaster is fun, it's exciting, and it, just, well I don't know how to explain it, it just makes you feel good," said Klemen's about his daring, birthday goal.
Klemen is already making plans for the year 2020. He says, if he's around, he'd like to ride the Jack Rabbit 100 times for his 100th birthday.
