CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (WTVR) –  If you plan on seeing the Dalai Lama during his highly anticipated trip to Charlottesville in October, we now know how much it will cost you.

While the city of Charlottesville hasn’t released any details, ticketing information is now up on the websites of the two venues where his holiness is slated to appear on Oct. 11.

The Dalai Lama is slated to give a talk on compassion at The Paramount at 10 a.m. Those tickets will go on sale Aug. 13, and will cost between $25 and $200.

He’ll also be speaking at The Pavilion at 1:30 p.m. that same day. Those tickets will go on sale Aug. 17. They too will cost between $25 and $200, but student tickets are also available for $15.

According to the city of Charlottesville, the Dalai Lama does not charge appearance fees, and the events are not planned for financial gain. All money gathered through ticket sales and sponsorships will be used to cover event costs. Anything surplus will be distributed to charities of the Dalai Lama’s choosing.
