VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WTVR) – A woman was shot and killed near the Virginia Beach oceanfront, WTKR.com reported Monday morning. Police arrested a man in connection with the early morning shooting.
Police identified the shooting victim as 49-year-old Irene Teague. Police called the shooting a “domestic situation” and added the victim and suspect knew each other.
The shooting happened east of Birdneck Road on Barberton Court near 24th Street.
