DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR)--Eleven handguns and four rifles have been missing for nearly two weeks after a break-in in Dinwiddie County.
While Sheriff's investigators were quick to arrest an 18-year-old and two other juveniles, they still haven't been able to find the guns.
Detectives said the case is still ongoing and they have several other persons of interest but their big concern is to get the guns off the street.
The house, on Zilles Road, is near Route 460 and the Nottoway County line.
Those who live nearby are concerned and want to see the guns picked up.
The owner was away between July 16-20, and it was during that time that the break-in occurred.
Along with some ammunition, cash and a few other items, 15 guns were also stolen.
While those involved face felony grand larceny and felony breaking and entering, they also face one felony for each gun stolen, for a total of 17 felony charges.
