Henrico apartment fire caused by dryer

HENRICO, Va. (WTVR) – Fire investigators say a dryer caused a fire at a Henrico apartment complex Saturday morning.

Officials said it happened around 11 a.m. at the Aspen Station apartment complex in the 1500 block of Forest Run Drive.

The apartment suffered serious damage and there was also some possible smoke damage to other units.

No one was injured

The American Red Cross responded to help one man who lived in the unit where the fire started.
