Olszewski had been missing since Sunday morning when he left for a day hike in the South Unit. A co-worker reported him missing Monday morning.

Searches have been conducted by foot, horseback, and with helicopters the past three days.

Olszewski is from Virginia, but had been working for Morton Buildings in Bismarck.

The search ended after three days, with more than 41 people actively searching for  Olszewski by helicopter, on foot and by horseback.
