Gainesville, FL – Some would-be robbers get a big surprise while trying to rob a Florida internet cafe.
Police say two men, one with a gun and the other with a baseball bat, tried to hold up the Gainesville business last Friday. That’s when a 71-year-old customer jumps into action. Officers say he pulled out his own gun and shot both suspects.
One suspect was shot in the butt, the other was hit in the arm. Both suspects were treated and arrested on robbery charges.
Police say the customer did have a license to carry a concealed weapon and won’t face any charges.
