VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WTKR) - A man says he was just trying to make some money when he agreed to tattoo three teenage girls in his home in Virginia Beach.

Police arrested 19-year-old Taylor Bledsoe because he gave the girls the tattoos without their parents' permission.

Bledsoe told WTKR he only agreed to do the $50 job because he needed the money since he can't hold a job because he suffers from mental disorders.

In addition, Bledsoe said he ordered the tattoo equipment online and that he was very careful about sanitizing the equipment.

However, Bledsoe is not state certified to perform tattoos, so he is facing three misdemeanor charges.

Bledsoe could face up to a year in jail and may have to pay fines if convicted.
