RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Virginia Commonwealth University sent out a campus alert Wednesday after a man reported he was robbed near campus.
The man told police he was robbed a gunpoint near the Eagle Mill Apartments at Marshall and Bowe streets. He reported the robbery at 3:24 Wednesday morning.
According to the VCU alert, the victim told police he'd met the suspect at a concert in the National Theater. The two walked to the RAMZ Hall 7-Eleven and then to the Eagle Mill Apartments. Police said as they left the apartment building, the victim said the suspect pulled out a silver or black gun and took the man's cell phone and necklace.
Richmond Police are investigating.
