Masked roadside robberies in Henrico

HENRICO, Va. (WTVR) Police report that victims have been robbed at gunpoint by a masked man.

Two incidents happened early Saturday morning, about five miles apart.

The first happened on Beth Road, just after midnight.

Police said that both times the suspect approached the victims--who were sitting in their cars--and demanded money. The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male, about six feet tall and in his early 20s.

The next situation unfolded in a similar way, just three hours from the other attempt.  

This time the man in a mask robbed in the 300 block of Shetland Court.

The suspect in this case was described only as a 160 to 170-pound male wearing a mask.

Henrico police said in each situation the man fled on foot. Police also said that there were no injuries.
