(New York)--President Obama will visit the World Trade Center construction site later today,  his fourth visit since 2008.

Thousands have been involved in the rebuilding of the site.

The building stands at 1,300 hundred feet tall, and climbing.

It’s the world's most watched building, and it is fast approaching its final height.

"For me, just two words sums it up, pride and honor,” said Marc Becker
Dep. Gen. Superintendent, Tishman Construction.

“You know, it signifies a resiliency as a nation,” said Mike Pinelli Gen. Superintendent, Tishman Construction.

For the more than 3,000 men and woman rebuilding the World Trade Center today, is big.

President Obama will tour the site and sign a beam to be placed at the top of One World Trade center.

"He's gonna come and sign it. It's gonna be the first signature on the topping out beam,” said Pinelli.

This stop falls right in line with the president's latest jobs push—after all, this is a big job generator for New York City and for the New York, New Jersey region.

Ground was broken for the Freedom tower in July 2004. But a year later those plans were scrapped due to security concerns. Then in April 2006, there was a second groundbreaking.

It will ultimately be 1776 feet, in honor of the year America declared its independence. It will have 104 floors.
