CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Four people were taken to the hospital following a Wednesday morning school bus accident in Chesterfield County, according to Chesterfield police.

"I want to know if someone was hurt, if there was any child involved because being a parent and a grandfather you're concerned about the life of another person," said motorist Charlie Staton."

The crash happened on Courthouse Road near Southlake Boulevard.  Police say both drivers and one student were transported in an ambulance to Chippenham Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  A witness tells CBS 6 News the parent of another child came to the scene and also took their child to the hospital to be checked out.

The school bus was fully loaded with nearly 60 students on their way to Midlothian Middle School.

The driver of the bus will be charged with following too closely.
