The 56th Annual Festival of Arts returns to Dogwood Dell Sunday, June 10 with Orquesta Tropikimba w/The Youth Salsa Orchestra, 8pm. Here are some of the highlights:


  • Sunday, 8:30pm, 19th – A Freedom Fest Concert -James Gates/Drum Line
  • Friday, 22, 8pm – Slack Family – Bluegrass
  • Sunday 24th, 7pm  – Prime Time Swing, Big Band Thursday,
  • June 28 – July 1st, 8:30pm – Henley St. Theatre Co – “The Liar”      


  • Wednesday, 5:30pm – 4th Independence Day Celebration
  • Saturday, 7th, 8pm – Plunky & Oneness
  • Friday, 13th, 8pm – David Esleck
  • Sunday, 15th, 4 -9:30pm, 3rd Annual Gospel Fest with The Belle
  • Saturday, 21st, 6th Annual Latin Jazz & Salsa Festival            


  • 3rd – 4th, 8:30pm – Musical “Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
  • Events also on the Ha’Penny Stage

Coming Friday, June 15th, City offers free outdoor Movie Series, Fridays, June 15 – August 17, 8:30pm, Byrd Park, movies shown on the lawn beside Fountain Lake, the 500 block of South Boulevard.
