PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR) - A former Petersburg pastor and council member who spent two decades in prison for sex crimes against children is back in jail after a parole violation.
Clyde Johnson was arrested Thursday on that violation, but CBS 6 has been unable to uncover what exactly what it was.
Johnson was released from jail in 2007 after serving 20 years for sexually assaulting five young people. All his victims were between 9 and 15 years old.
A jury had recommended he serve more than 130 years in prison, but under the law at the time, his sentence was shortened because of concurrent sentences.
