Prince George soldier’s body returns home

PRINCE GEORGE, Va. (WTVR) – The body of a local soldier that was killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan is back home.

Accordingly, the family of Captain Jesse Ozbat is planning his funeral for Saturday.

Ozbat died earlier this month after he was injured by an IED explosion.

Ozbat was a graduate of Prince George High School and was awarded a full scholarship to Virginia State University. He went on to graduate in the top 10 percent of all ROTC cadets in the country.
