RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Check out this week’s Free Stuff we found for you and check back often, we’re always adding new listings.

FREE DOUGHNUT DAY:  Friday, June 1st.  Get a free donut at Krispy Kreme. No purchase necessary.  Get a free donut with purchase at Dunkin Donuts.

FREE CONCERT:  New York-based singer/songwriter, Jennings.  Saturday, June 2 10p.m., the Hat Factory, 140 Virginia Street, Richmond. Click [HERE] for more information.

FREE ADMISSION:   Ashland Strawberry Faire, this Saturday,  June 2 on the ground of Randolph-Macon College.  Plenty of strawberry treats, entertainment on two stages and arts and crafts from 10a.m. to 5 p.m.

FREE ADMISSION:  The Richmond Youth Symphony Orchestra presents a free Saturday evening (6/2) concert at Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield.  Gates open at 6p.m. , the concert begins at 7p.m.   Call 804-796-4255 for details.

FREE ENTERTAINMENT:   Friday, June 1st  marks the “First Fridays Art Walk” from 5 to 9 p.m. at galleries on and around Broad street downtown.

FREE CONCERT: Enjoy a free bluegrass and gospel concert by Willow Creek Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 411 E. Grace Street.

FREE FISHING: June 1, 2 and 3 are “free fishing days” in Virginia. No fishing license of any kind will be required for rod and reel fishingStop by Shiellds Lake at Byrd Park Saturday from 9am to noon for the annual Family Fishing Fair, including basic lessons.   Limited poles and tackle will be available .  Call 804-232-1982 for more information.   Hanover County will host a similar program Saturday, June 2,  from 8-11a.m.; at Courthouse Park. 

FREE BOWLING:   AMF Bowling Centers is offering FREE bowling again this summer, up to two games per day, for children up to age 15.    Through  September 3, free bowling will be available seven days a week, until 8p.m. nightly. Shoe rental is not included.

FREE JAZZ: The Virginia Museum has free admission to it’s Jazz Cafe program every Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Upcoming performances include the Skip Gailes Quartet (5/31), Joe Scott with Virgil Braxton (6/7) .  Jazz Cafe and general VMFA Museum admission are always free.

FREE FOR ACTIVE MILITARY: Free annual passes to America’s National Parks (value $80) are now  available to members of the military and their families free of charge.  The pass allows entrance  to more than 2,000 national parks, wildlife refuges and other public lands. The free pass will be made available for activated members of the National Guard and Reserves but not to military veterans or retirees. Military personnel can get the passes by showing their military I.D at any national park or wildlife refuge that charges an entrance fee.

FREE CONCERTS:   Enjoy free concerts through the summer at Forest Hill Park near the Old Stone House.   Concerts are from 6p.m. to 8p.m.  Bring a picnic dinner if you`d like. Get a full concert schedule [HERE].

FREE LESSON: Check out a free introductory lesson, ice skating or ice hockey at either SkateNation Plus in Short Pump or Richmond Ice Zone in Midlothian.

LOTS OF FREE STUFF: How about getting and giving stuff free? The Freecycle Network is made up of nearly five thousand groups and nearly 70-thousand members around the world who are getting and giving away stuff free. Membership is free It’s a great way to recycle, get rid of items you don’t want, and get things you do.

FREE KIDS MEALS: Kids eat free at McAlister’s Deli every Tuesday from  9 p.m. with the purchase of an adult entree.  There are two locations in the Richmond area, Gayton Crossing and Westchester Commons in Midlothian.

FREE QDOBA: Children eat free at Qdoba on Sundays with the purchase of an adult entrée.

FREE FIREHOUSE SUBS: A lot of restaurants offer birthday clubs that you have to sign up for, to get freebies on your special day. At Firehouse Subs, just show up on your birthday with I.D with your birth date, and get a free medium sub. There are several locations in the metro area.
