RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Police have captured a man accused of murder and featured on “America’s Most Wanted” at a Richmond-area homeless shelter.

Officers arrested Omar Cohall Tuesday.

The 34-year-old had been on the loose since March, when investigators say he killed his own sister, by beating her to death with the leg of a chair.

The murder happened in Brooklyn and it is unclear how he made it to Central Virginia.

The website for “America’s Most Wanted” said that Cohall is a diagnosed schizophrenic.
