(WTVR) - The next time you buy sunscreen, remember this: price doesn't necessarily reflect quality.

A new study by Consumer Reports says expensive sunscreens don't necessarily work best.

Consumer Reports tested multiple sunscreens and found Walgreen's generic 30 SPF lotion and No A-D brand ranked as the top brands because of the amount of protection they provide and how long they last.

The report also found that you should stay away from spray-on brands of sunscreen, especially for children. They can wash away easily and don't rub into the skin as well.
