CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR) - A Chesterfield woman appeared Thursday on "The Price is Right".
Gail Farmer appeared as a contestant on the CBS game show Thursday morning.
Farmer won a year's worth of maid service, groceries, movie tickets and other prices worth over $8,600.
Farmer went to the show to celebrate the four year anniversary of her kidney transplant. She says she stood in line for about 8 hours before becoming one of the lucky ones to get the call to "come on down!".
Farmer also wore a special T-shirt her daughter made for her. It read, "Virginia loves Drew," for Drew Carey, the show's host.
