Chesterfield leaders want your input on county plans

Posted

What will central Virginia look like in the next ten, twenty years?

Chesterfield leaders want your input to help shape the county’s future.

You have until 8:30 tomorrow morning, May 18, to log onto the county’s website and comment on the first draft of the new comprehensive plan.

That’s the document that will ultimately determine how many new homes, schools, and businesses will be built in the next two decades, and the impact it will have on the land and environment.

County leaders said that, “At the end of this public review and comment period, staff will consolidate similar comments and evaluate them for possible incorporation into the draft components. Staff will respond to the consolidated comments and forward them to the Commission along with the revised draft components for their consideration. Staff’s response to the public’s comments on each component will be available to the public when the revised draft components are distributed to the Planning Commission. “
