Benedictine basketball coach heading to D.C.

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Benedictine basketball coach Sean McAloon was hired for the same job at St. John’s College high school in Washington D.C. on Wednesday night.

McAloon has spent the last seven years with the Cadets, posting a record of 165-57 and a 27-7 mark this past season.

Before Benedictine, he was an assistant at Bucknell and his Alma-mater, Randolph-Macon under current VCU assistant coach Mike Rhodes. He was a four-year letter winner and captain for two years with the Yellow Jackets.
