PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR)- Prince George fire crews are on scene of a structure fire at 16050 Pole Run Rd. Sunday morning, and have confirmed to CBS 6 that one person has died in the blaze.
Fire fighters on the scene tell CBS 6 that an off duty police officer noticed smoke in the area shortly before 6:00 a.m., and when the first engine arrived on scene, they found a trailer on fire.
Investigators tell us that the victim is an adult female who was living in the trailer, but her name has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it appears to be accidental in nature.
