PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR)- Petersburg Police are looking for a man they say attempted to rob and then sexually assault a female worker making a delivery at a grocery store.

Spokeswoman Esther Hyatt told CBS 6 that they responded to the Save A Lot Store in the 2000 block of S. Crater Rd. at 6:00 Saturday morning. Upon arrival, they found the victim in the back of the business.

Police say the victim was a truck driver making a delivery to the store. She told police that an armed man came up and demanded her money. When she said she had no money, police say the suspect then attempted to sexually assault her before fleeing the scene on foot.
