Downtown goes Latin this weekend as the 10th annual Que Pasa Festival comes to the Canal Turning Basin. The festival also falls on the Cinco de Mayo Holiday. The Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce sponsors the event say the Canal Turning Basin is a great venue for the festival which was formerly held at the Science Museum and held in September.
There will be free Canal Boat rides, a Latin food festival, entertainment and lots of activities for families starting at 11am and ending at 7pm at the Canal Turning Basin between 14th and Virginia Streets.
