BENSALEM, Pa. (WTVR) - A Pennsylvania father sprang into action and helped deliver his own daughter when his fiancee went into labor while taking a shower.

Christopher Taylor said he ran into the bathroom, saw what was happening and called 911.

"But because she was coming out so fast, we really didn't have time to hear all the steps that 911 had," Taylor said. "So I said extremely loud, 'Skip to step 10. The baby's head is here.'"

Mom said giving birth in the bathroom wasn't too hard.

"It was easier than I thought, because I had already been through birth with Jayden," said Ivonne Rodriguez.

But for dad, the experience was a little more difficult.

"It was not easy at all," he said. "You have to hold your fear inside and just make sure that they're all right. But that was something I never thought I would do. As far as actually delivering the baby, no, I did not imagine that"
