RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The preliminary data on April’s temperature and precipitation is available now from the recording station at Richmond International Airport (maintained by the National Weather Service).
The average temperature was near-normal, a big change from our trend so far this year of near-record warmth. Despite several good, soaking rainfall events during April, we continue to lag behind in our 2012 rainfall. April was below-normal for rainfall by more than three-quarters of an inch.
