RICHMOND, Va.- Citywide preschool registration for Richmond Public Schools will be held Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bellevue, Blackwell, Carver, Linwood Holton, Miles Jones, Overby-Sheppard, Southampton and Westover Hills.
Parents can also register their children at the Maymont Preschool Center and the Gill Center next to Fairfield Court Elementary School.
Children must be four years old by September 30, 2012 in order to enroll in the district’s Head Start and Virginia Preschool Initiative programs.
Parents must bring proof of residence, the child’s birth certificate and Social Security card, an up-to-date immunization record and a completed physical examination dated within the last 12 months.
Head Start parents also must bring proof of income, their child’s health insurance card and a completed dental exam form dated within the last six months.
