ABINGDON, Va. (WTVR) - A Virginia teacher has been charged with 12 counts of brandishing a firearm on school property after allegedly taunting his students with a gun.

Sixty-year-old Manuael Dillow teaches in Abingdon, which is located in the western part of Virginia.

Police said earlier this month Dillow lined up 12 students in his class, pulled out a blank firing handgun and shot it in the direction of those students.

None of those students were hurt.

Dillow has been removed from the classroom. Police said they are still investigating why he allegedly did it.
