RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -The space shuttle Discovery is at its final destination as of Thursday, at a branch of the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, Virginia. The shuttle was hoisted off the back of the modified 747 that brought it to Virginia from Florida on April 17, 2012. The shuttle Enterprise was also moved out of the museum a short time later to make room for Discovery's move-in. As Discovery moved in, it was escorted to the museum by former astronauts. They say they wouldn't miss this historic moment. Thursday's ceremony was the start of four days of events at the museum, celebrating Discovery's arrival.
