(WTVR) – The pastor who crashed his car into a Krispy Kreme on Broad Street was in court today for reckless driving and a first offense DWI.

Jay Bertrand’s reckless driving charge was dropped but he will be back in court on the DWI charge on June 8th.

The family of the Varina pastor says a back spasm caused him to drive into the store earlier this month.
