MINERAL, Va (WTVR) -Country music star Alan Jackson will be in Louisa County Sunday evening.
He’ll be performing a benefit concert for earthquake-damaged Louisa County schools.
“Alan Jackson: Music For Mineral” Live Concert Event Presented by Smithfield will be held in the parking lot of Louisa County High School Sunday night at 7pm.
If you’re planning to go, you cannot park at the school. Police say you have to park off site and ride a shuttle. Shuttle service is available at Miller’s Market, and Mineral Fire Hall.
100% of the net proceeds from the Gold Circle and Benefactor tickets will fund the Louisa Education Foundation (LEF) and be used to assist the county public schools in their rebuilding efforts as a result of the August 2011 earthquake.
