(CNN) – A heartbreaking theft for rocker Tom Petty and his band the Heartbreakers and enough to push anyone toward a “Breakdown”.
Five guitars, including three vintage ones, were stolen from a soundstage in Culver City, CA last week.
Petty, one of America’s top recording artists, and his band had been rehearsing at the studios for their upcoming U.S. tour when the theft occurred.
The successful musician is offering a $7,500 reward and no questions asked for the return of the guitars.
Police are investigating.
